And we’re off!  Due to our huge success at Art’s Alive, we decided to make our wares available to everyone and open an Etsy Store!  Take a moment to check us out, we guarantee you’ll love it!

We’re still recovering from an awesome weekend at Arts Alive.  Not only did we meet some fantastic people, but we also won best display!  I guess building the winning piece in the pouring rain was worth every bit of wet shoes and soaked clothes. Thanks again to all those to came out, visited and bought some of our wares.  We really appreciate it.  Expect a Facebook and Etsy page soon!

Excitement much?

EarthCandy Designs is super excited to a part of this year’s Art’s Alive Festival in Florence, Ala. We received our acceptance letter last week, and it felt like we were opening our college acceptance letters – we haven’t felt that in many a year!  We’ll be set up in Wilson Park, May 18-19 from 9 am -5 pm.  Stop by and visit us if you’re in the neighborhood.  Art’s Alive started back in 1986 and hundreds of artists from around the country come down to good ole Alabama to display their wares.  We’ve been busy, in the shop upstairs in Leighton, creating a ton of new pieces made from materials reclaimed from old estates, dilapidated buildings and even a few from our own building! They’re all pretty cool if I do say so myself.

This is our truck after leaving an auction in Ramer, TN today. We met some awesome new friends, found a ton of great material, and even got dip cones to end the day. A special thanks to all the fellas who helped us load!

Our first First Friday
