Jaime Weaver is and has always been a collector, obtaining her substantial first piece of art at the ripe age of 11-years-old – that is if you don’t count her extensive action figures from the 80s collection. With an uncanny ability to find new life in disregarded objects, an educated eye, a sense of style, and a gut feeling have been her tools to maintain and continue a successful career in the industry.
She has renovated a total of three dilapidated buildings into beautiful spaces in a span of just five years. By using reclaimed materials, and building by hand, her renovated spaces can also be considered as green spaces. “To me protecting what we have and bringing new life to old materials is just as important as taking your recycling to the curb every weekend,” says Weaver. With an environmentally friendly attitude and an artful eye, Weaver creates places and objects that simply inspire.
