EarthCandy Designs is a new type of organization. We deal with the old, the not wanted, the discarded and unloved. Why? Because we love it. From dilapidated buildings, to 19 century wood in a pasture, EarthCandy Designs finds a new purpose for abandoned objects.
What we do:
Collect. If we find a piece that we love, we think others will love it as well. So if we don’t use it in one of our many projects, we try to find a new home for it. Surprisingly there are others who love old stuff as much as we do!
Create. Lot’s of materials are just in need a new way of being, so we do our best to do that for them. Whether its frames out of beaded board, insulator candle holders, or the many surprising things you can do with old mattress springs, we design and make new objects from the old. Oh and we sell them too!
Renovate. As we’ve said before, we love a dilapidated building and right now “The Leighton Project,” takes up most of our time. We are currently in the process of renovating two buildings in historic town of Leighton. We invite you to explore those pages on our blog.
Root. A good bit of our time is spent rooting around for stuff. Our Saturdays are usually spend donning gloves and headlamps and rooting around paw-paws old work shed for some unbelievable finds.
